Building Smarter Rigging: Inside Our Inspection & Certification App
offshoreheavy-lifting

We're building a purpose-built inspection and certification app, developed in close collaboration with a seasoned Design Partner in the heavy lift industry. From wire rope slings to shackles and lifting assemblies, every piece of critical lifting gear deserves more than a spreadsheet. Our application brings full equipment lifecycle management to the field: digital inspection workflows, color-code cycle tracking, automated certification documents, and real-time compliance alerts. Built by people who know the load. Built for the teams who carry it. Currently in active development. Follow us for updates.

In partnership with a leading heavy lift Design Partner, we are developing a purpose-built application to bring rigging inspection and certification into the digital age.

Every shackle, sling, and lifting assembly on a heavy lift job site carries a critical responsibility — and the paperwork to match. Color-coded ty-raps, handwritten tags, and spreadsheet logs have long been the backbone of rigging inspection workflows. We're changing that.

Working closely with an experienced Design Partner active in the heavy lift and crane industry, we are developing a dedicated rigging inspection and certification application that digitizes the full lifecycle of lifting equipment — from incoming inspection and load testing through periodic recertification and end-of-life decommissioning.

What the application will cover:

Equipment registration — catalog every sling, shackle, hook, and assembly with photos, serial numbers, and manufacturer data

Inspection workflows — guided checklists aligned with industry standards (EN, ASME, ISO), with pass/fail logging and photo evidence

Color-code management — digital tracking of periodic inspection cycles, replacing physical ty-rap color systems with a traceable audit trail

Certification & documentation — auto-generated inspection reports and certificates of conformity, ready for client handover

Alerts & scheduling — automated reminders for upcoming recertification deadlines, keeping equipment compliant and crews safe

Designed for the field, built for compliance.

The application is being shaped by real operational experience — developed alongside professionals who understand the stakes of heavy lift work. The goal is a tool that works as hard as the equipment it tracks.
